The staff was amazing a very accommodating through the entire process. From instant communication and feedback upon registering online, thru all of the ceremonies during the retreat and following up days after. Meals were healthy and in abundance. Facilities were clean and modern. You are in the jungle so expect insects and low water pressure. Do not miss an opportunity to add additional individualized treatments. The Pudzya massage and Bufo were great releases for the body, mind and soul!! A++
We had such a wonderful experience with Aloee Wellness! We came to Cancun for a bachelorette party with 12 girls and were taken care of so well. I had to 2 back-to-back ceremonies with Edgar. First night we consecrated Ayahuasca, cannabis, ambil and membe. In the second night the journey contained with consecration of peyote, cannabis, Rape and ayahuasca. Very intense yet supper smooth and understandable. Edgar is a knowable shaman with traditional approach full of respect. With him, you are in good hands and all you need is to have faith to the medicine. I did the one day Tuesday night session. I was the only participant. The whole experience was good from the time of inquiring to leaving the ceremony location.The Shaman Edgar was very knowledgeable and brought with him a culmination of many traditions.The medicine was AMAZING. I got the answer i had been searching for 25 years, and, unsurprisingly, it was such a simple yet powerful insight. Life changing!Was tempted to do another session within the next 10 days, but also integration is important and so left it for now.
Amazing doesnt beggin to discribe what a powerful and meaningful expirience I had. I was quite nervous when attending my retreat because it was something completely new for me, especially when I realised I would be the only one doing it that night. Edgar made me feel very comfortable from the start, explaining me the whole process, his history and asking about myself and my intentions to better guide me. He was very knowledgeable, patient and listening, allowing me to go at my own rhythm and always making sure everything was ok. This is no tourist trap, I deeply recommend the experience!

The reservation process was very courteous and easy to use. Lacie was an amazing masseuse, very professional, knowledgable of her craft and had a wonderfully calming spirit. I will use the company agin , they have trained therapists that have been certified which is always good to know when you are out of country.
As first timers, we were a little nervous but followed the suggested diet for a week before our ayahuasca experience and asked questions that Aloee Wellness were quick to respond to before we arrived. Edgar and Zeb couldn't have made us feel more confident that we were in safe hands and they were keen to ensure that everyone's questions were satisfied at the initial briefing. A group of 5, we headed out to the jungle for an awesome and life changing experience. Edgar provided an anchor, explaining the ritual, gaugeing each participant's appropriate dose of medicine and singing or chanting throughout the night (if that sounds in any way irritating, believe me, it's never intrusive and is wholly appropriate). Perhaps we were lucky in that everyone went deep inside themselves and no-one purged/was sick, another indication of the care we received. I can't emphasise enough how safe we felt, held and nurtured throughout, given the freedom to work with the medicine with utmost confidence . The jungle wildlife and stars!! We landed to a wonderful cacao ceremony and accomplished, meditative sound bath before heading to the beach for the final water ceremony. This is an experience that will reward your trust a hundred fold. We hope to return one day and would recommend it without hesitation. You'll not regret it. I booked the 1-day Aya Retreat with Edgar and couldn’t be happier with my experience.Easy to book, great contact with Aloee the whole time I was in Playa/Puerto Morelos via WhatsApp—super responsive. And really good price for a real plant medicine ritual experience with a seasoned, authentic local healer.This was my second experience with Ayahuasca, and what really stood out were a few things. First, Edgar knows the stories and the history of the plant medicines, the peninsula, the people, the land. Having a guide who has spent 18+ years working with elders to apprentice into the tradition, to learn the forest and the wisdom, to be able to give deep history on everything from the symbolism to the culture to the language matters. It made me feel more comfortable leaning into the experience, trusting him to guide me through the journey and to get out of my own head—not an easy thing for me do, which is why I wanted to do it a second time.This time, I was able to let go and listen to my body without overthinking. The stories and songs were my guide, and Edgar gave a sense of peace through the whole night as a symphony of nature played outside around us.I was also surprised I didn’t get eaten alive by mosquitoes out in the jungle—the cabin was well protected and the weather was kind of perfect, with a light rain around maybe 3am that made everything cool and quiet until dreams swept me away.I woke up and we talked a while, ate some local fruits and nuts, and then closed the ritual. Afterwards, I walked around the area, following the trails a while, over to a small cenote on the property, than back into a tree line where I left some fruits as thanks on a large stone facade.It’s been a couple of weeks now, and I’m still feeling the calm of that night, which is saying something for me. I work in fast-paced startup environments and tend to be pretty heady, so my goal was to reconnect with myself—find a little peace and relearn to listen to myself. I’m naturally skeptical, spent more than a few years in neuroscience and now in biz ops, so I tend to be distrustful of anything I can’t quantify.One of the things that helped me trust the experience is the knowledge that Edgar shared about how the medicine is made, it’s origins, even appropriate dosage—ie it was measured, not guesswork.Edgar is a healer, I believe that—not easy to say for someone prone to disbelief. And I felt something shift in me that night.For my experience, though, as I’m sure everyone’s is a little different, the stories of Yucatán mattered most. We talked about the popol vuh—one of the origin stories I studied in grad school—of the Mayan people, their relationship to the plants and trees and earth and animals. It felt kind of like magic out there, with Edgar as a guide—Virgil walking Dante through the wood of confusion; time seems different. I feel a bit different—not a different person, just awake, more relaxed. That’s what I asked for—just didn’t expect to find it.Dissertation aside, I’ll be back to Aloee. There are more stories and dreams and questions to explore out there in the jungle, and I’d like to keep that connection alive—to listen into the night.There’s a good group of people at Aloee and Casa Sangha. Worth an annual retreat. Next time, I’ll try a second day, maybe another plant medicine, too. Humbled and grateful for this experience.

No words can describe how amazing this retreat was. A true connection with one’s soul. We chose to do a private ceremony, this was our first time deciding to do it private - it was the best decision for our group. We worked with Edgar, he is a healer that has tremendous amount of knowledge and lineage of healing… I have always had a traumatic experience when sitting down with Pachamama so I informed him about this before the ceremony.. he assured me that he would work with me. He is tremendously great at what he does, he is able to contain the space in a very safe manner, allowing us to heal without the fear of the unknown. The services were provided at our hotel; the expert therapists set up the environment with chocolates, wine, and roses to lift our mood. The staff was really warm and friendly. Lovely organisation from Jessy. All of our needs and requests were handled swiftly and efficiently. If I needed something she would be on the ball immediately which was wonderful. We had the in home spa experience which included a 1 hour massage, facial and sauna. The ladies arrived on time, and were polite and professional.

We utilize cost-effective bunk bed dorms (with separate restrooms and hot water showers) for Group Ceremonies, with a dedicated ceremony shala and outdoor terrace. Private booking guests can choose from a variety of accommodations (booked separately with the venue), from budget-friendly options to luxurious villas. Private booking guests can enjoy access to refreshing pools, delicious meals, yoga shala, and a lookout tower with breathtaking sunset and sunrise views. **Only open for scheduled appointments. No walk-in.

We offer various Amazonian power plant ceremonies during the REBORN Transformation retreats, hosted at the enchanted Lunita eco jungle centre. These special ceremonies follow a similar format as a typical Open Group Ceremony, with a touch of magic: the ceremnial space will be blessed by the indigineous elders to open the spiritual portal, and a special fire ritual will help receiving wisdom download. Guests also have the exclusive opportunity (only at REBORN retreats) to take home a piece of proctive jewlery blessed by the shaman. While the registration fee does not include accommodations, you can sleep comfortably on the floor in a glass dome (mats and blankets provided), or upgrade to a bedroom at a cost (pending availability).

Casa Shirley's lush trees with wild birds serve as a complete jungle escape as a budget friendly option for small groups. This is a family-owned, rustic environment; not a hotel experience. **Only open for scheduled appointments. No walk-in.
